Owners Scott and Lisa Ward lead a team of highly skilled professionals who have been mentored and trained to their most rigorous standards so that every patient receives the same outstanding quality of care.
Scott Ward
Scott WardBAppSc (Physiotherapy) APAM, BAppSc (Exercise & Sports Science), SMA
Scott has extensive experience in private practice, including Sydney Whiplash Centre, specialising in the treatment of spinal pain and sports injury. He is a qualified Exercise and Sports Scientist, a preferred physiotherapy provider for Cricket NSW and has years of experience coaching with the NSW High Performance Coaching Panel.
In the past, Scott has been the physiotherapist for the Cricket NSW underage teams and for NSW Country at the Junior National Football Championships. He is a passionate sports ‘nut’ with a local link, with his father a founding member of Port Stephens Yacht Squadron at Soldiers Point.
Scott is currently completing a Masters in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy. Scott is also a Bike Fit Physio.
Lisa Ward
Lisa WardBAppSc (Physiotherapy), Level 3 Professional Pilates Instructor APMA
Lisa is the mother of a ‘pigeon pair’ with experience in private practice, the Pilates Method in a clinical setting, spinal, orthopaedic, medical and neurological rehabilitation, falls prevention, casting and hydrotherapy. Lisa trained and taught the Pilates Method in a large Sydney physiotherapy centre that specialised in treating professional dance and ballet clients.
As a dancer, choreographer and teacher Lisa has a strong interest in dance and musical theatre that is continued today via her teaching and running of ‘Inspire Dance’ with a friend, teaching various forms of dance to children locally. Lisa has performed ballroom, tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical and irish dance with highlights including Disneyland (USA), JAPAN and the Sydney Olympic Opening Ceremony.
Lisa is a Professional Pilates Instructor, teaching the Pilates method today and also providing PrePointe Assessments and Dance rehabilitation within the clinic.
Nicole Pereira
Nicole PereiraBExercise Science MPhysiotherapy APAM, Pilates Instructor
Nicole holds a Master of Physiotherapy degree and an Exercise Science degree from Griffith University. Nicole has extended her qualifications and is now qualified as a Pilates Instructor. Her broad range of physiotherapy experience spans orthopaedic, neurological, cardiorespiratory and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

Nicole has been actively involved in the community having been a member of Birubi Surf Lifesaving Club and with family running a business locally. Nicole has worked as a sports trainer for the local rugby league team and also provided care to people with a disability, in both school and private practice.

With her background in exercise science Nicole enjoys assessing musculoskeletal disorders and implementing treatment programs that include both home and gym work. Away from the clinic, Nicole enjoys recreational surfing, paddle boarding, scuba diving and hiking.

Laura Black
Laura BlackBAppSc (Exercise & Sports Science), MPhysiotherapy
Laura holds a Master of Physiotherapy degree and an Exercise & Sports Science degree. She has a wide range of physiotherapy experience sports, musculoskeletal, neurology, orthopaedics, cardiorespiratory & rehabilitation.

Laura grew up on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and holidayed at Salamander Bay. She has spent the past 6 years living & working in rural Central Queensland and is now excited to have relocated back to the coast.

Laura has worked as a physio for rugby union teams and enjoys watching & participating in all kinds of sports. She loves swimming, surfing, paddle boarding, running, yoga & hitting the gym. Her other hobbies include cooking and reading.

Laura lives assisting her clients to return to & improve on their favourite active pursuits.

Lachlan Pappas
Lachlan PappasBPhysiotherapy, APAM
Lachlan has an Honours in Physiotherapy from the University of Newcastle. With a clinical background in neuromuscular and musculoskeletal physiotherapy at St Vincent’s hospital, Darlinghurst. Lachlan has practiced hatha yoga for 12 years and is passionate about posture, strength and balance and how these can improve or disrupt our lives.

Originally from Bondi, Lachlan is a dedicated small wave, fair weather surfer and is quickly getting a handle on the Nelson Bay spots (including who’s got the best coffee!). When the wind is onshore and the sun’s not shining, expect to see him going for a soft sand run, yoga or gym session any time he can.

A local all her life, Lyndal has brought experience from local medical practice and the hospitality industry to create a warm, friendly and positive environment for clients and staff as a whole. Lyndal has a strong, loyal and caring nature and can’t wait to share with you her favourite joke or local story.

Lyndal is a mother of three with piano tutoring experience who enjoys working creatively in the garden, with art, on clothes and even on home renovations.

After moving to the area a couple of years ago with her husband, Clare has enjoyed discovering the Tomaree Peninsula, meeting new people and establishing new friendships. She’s keen to learn more so why not share a story or two with her about our gorgeous region.

Clare enjoys cooking, watching cricket, hanging out in the sun and playing with her newly acquired puppy. Not bad for a Queenslander and Collingwood supporter!!”
